Tomoyuki  “Tomo” Okada is a digital image specialist and designer based in California’s San Francisco Bay Area in the United States of America. Born and raised in the mountains of northern Kyoto, Japan, he has over twenty-five years of experience working as a photographic image retoucher for Nissha, one of Japan’s oldest and most prestigious printing companies.

Over a career that has bridged film and digital, Tomo Okada has produced print advertising for regular commercial clients including Toyota Motors and Shiseido Cosmetics, as well as art exhibition catalogues, folio art publications, and

digital archives for publishers, photographers, artists, and museums such as

the Kyoto National Museum, the Nara National Museum, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Working in Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, and other software, Tomo Okada produces elegantly rendered image composites, color corrections, and illustrations, as well as innovative websites. He specializes in creative image solutions marked by beauty, sensitivity, and restraint.
